Finchampstead Sports Club is starting up a monthly quiz night. The first of these is this Saturday and will have a St Patrick's day theme. It starts at 7pm and entry is £1 a person. They'll have a best club prize too so it would be good to get some Coasters there for that.

We're looking at going along as a club to this running festival as a camping weekend. There's a 10k run on the Saturday and a 6 hour relay on the Sunday. Last year we had a team of 4 and a team of 6 enter the relay, both winning prizes.

Wokingham is only 3 weeks away (gulp). As this is a club run and there are quite a few of us running this half marathon, we thought it would be nice to have a celebratory curry after the race. Please can you let me know if you would like to come out for a curry on Sunday 13th Feb (you don't have to have run the half) and any preference to which restaurant you would prefer to go to. |

We organize several social events during the year, including a pasta party the evening before the London Marathon, an awards evening, cheese and wine evenings and a summer BBQ. |

The Club Championship is now focussed on a single race – the Wokingham half Marathon. Prizes are awarded for the fastest lady and fastest man. Prizes are also awarded for the best new PB and best improvement in a PB. A special prize will be awarded for anyone who improves their PB if it is more than 5 years old. |
