The club organises an occasional Hash run as a change of pace and for some fun. These are very relaxed runs which are ideal for a mixed ability group. You follow a flour trail laid by the Hare. The faster runners will end up doing all the donkey work, following False trails and doing Runbacks so that they get the opportunity to stretch their legs without leaving behind the more sedate. So you might get to run with people you never normally see (if only for a millisecond at a time as they shoot past). After the run, by hash rules, it is compulsory to attend the public house at which the run started for some beer and grub (Cokes are OK if you have to drive!).
