Once a year (although sometimes more as we enjoy these things) we pack up our tents and head off to the country somewhere to drink lots of wine and run the odd race or two. We pick an area with lots of things to do, with the weekend centred around a race. We’ll usually then participate in other activities (apart from drinking wine) such as mountain biking or canoeing. These are family based as we look for places with activities for children as well as the adults. We then seek to get all the tents sited in one spot to form our own little community.

Last year we went to Cannock Chase to take part in the festival of running there. The year before we were in North Wales for Race the Train. Any suggestions or ideas, please email into the committee.
